Artists    Vaughn Bisschops

Ancient methods form the backbone to Vaughn Bisschops' practice.

Glass has been used as a communication tool traditionally in ecclesiastical settings for over a thousand years. Vaughn has spent the better part of twenty years exploring and understanding how colour and light communicate messags.

Vaughn aims to take glass out of the traditional settings and into open spaces. By removing the boundaries glass panels can morph into 3D forms.

Vaughn uses steel, timber and concrete as compemetary support systems, instead of traditional frames, allowing glass to communicate with the wider audience.
